[S7E5] Almost Grown \/\/TOP\\\\

That means that Jon Snow wouldn't be Rhaegar's bastard at all, he'd be his rightful, natural born heir. To the Iron Throne and the Seven Kingdoms. He'd have a far, far better claim than Daenerys, at least, though not three fully grown dragons.

[S7E5] Almost Grown

In any case, this was a huge revelation tonight, and it's almost hilarious that Sam just brushed it all off. He was so close to learning something important! Gilly found this monumental piece of information and they just skip past it. Gah! How frustrating!

It's going to lead to some very amazing television next week, and it served the story for other reasons as well, but the plan they come up with is just monstrously stupid, dangerous and almost certain to fail.

It's also insanely dangerous. Tyrion sneaking into King's Landing is dangerous, though he gets out alive. Jon and Jorah going beyond the wall is insanely dangerous, though it's going to make for one hell of a good episode next week. And bringing a wight all the way to King's Landing is dangerous---mostly because Cersei will almost certainly lay a trap for anyone stupid enough to go meet with her there. She even tells Jaime that they have to fight their enemies the way Tywin would have. That's a nod to the Red Wedding, in case you didn't notice it.

Cynthia Nixon, a.k.a Miranda from Sex and the City, is running for governor of New York. I think that this would be the best decision that has been made in a while solely based off of the fact that almost no one knows New York like the cast of Sex and the City. This got me thinking about who else would be a good candidate to take over the city of dreams. Then I realized that Blair Waldorf, if she were a real person, would be my number one choice for governor. Here are five reasons why Queen B would be an excellent ruler.

Lord Tarly grasps Dickon's arm as they face down the dragon. "I, Daenerys Targaryen, first of my name..." Oh god, is she going to do the whole thing?? That's just cruel. But she abridges it a bit, to just "Breaker of chains and mother of dragons," which seems a weird thing to bring up when she literally told her a whole bunch of people they had to follow her or die. Not such a breaker of chains now, huh? She sounds almost bored as she says, "Dracarys," and Drogon breathes fire.

Then, I kid you not, as soon as he's gone, one of the maesters goes, "Is he the one whose father and brother were just burnt alive?" He sounds so conversational about it! Like, "oh yeah, Sam, he's the one whose dad is a blacksmith," except, you know, about death and dragon fire. The Grand Maester confirms that its true, and that he hasn't told Sam about it yet. He says Sam is a good lad. For a moment, he almost seems sad about it, but then the moment passes, and they move on to new business.

This week, Mack almost lost his parents. He chose to abort the mission and reveal their location, much the same way that Tony Stark refused to save the world unless it was done in a way that also saved his daughter, who was born after everyone was turned to dust, which will have ramifications for multiple timelines.

With everything going on, on Bardo, it is almost easy to forget about Sanctum. However, 'The 100' makes sure that the stories are at the top level no matter the location. Hours after Russell Prime (JR Bourne) is spared, the Faithful (the Sanctumites who still believe in the divinity of the Primes) threaten to kill themselves, one per hour until Russell is freed.

We are quite concerned about Octavia's fate at the moment. We don't know whether Octavia will be back to who she was before. However, viewers might remember a shot from the trailer where Octavia and Clarke hold back Hope as the latter cries for her mother. This gives us the sense that we will see Octavia being back to normal again. We also hope Levitt survived because he has grown on us.

Our site has grown a tremendous amount in even the last year -- our traffic is up between 70 and 100 percent from 12 months ago, depending on which metric you want to use. This is a wonderful thing; after all, the goal of Grady and I when we launched this thing about two and a half years ago was to add something meaningful to the Cougar community, and if so many people are finding time to stop by everyday, we must be doing something right. 041b061a72
