The film stars Bobby Deol as Major Aditya Shrivastav, a court martialled army officer who seeks justice for his brother Anuj (Ritesh Deshmukh), who was killed in a fake encounter by a corrupt ACP Yashwant Thakur (Rahul Dev) and his two subordinates. Lara Dutta plays Payal, a lawyer and Aditya's fiancee, who helps him in his quest. Tara Sharma plays Ramona, Anuj's girlfriend and a witness to his murder. The film also features Vishwajeet Pradhan, Ganesh Yadav, Nagesh Bhonsle, Shivaji Satam and Virendra Saxena in supporting roles.
